Table Mountain

My first Africaan's lesson was quite comical. Our teacher had us practicing our g's and of course, singled me out to make that god-awful noise for the class. The number 80 will not be my friend....

This morning I walked into placement and all of the nurses informed us that the babies have the measles so we better have gotten our measles vaccine. I know nothing about the measles, but I went on with my day feeding bottles, mushed carrots and bouncing babies. I'm becoming extremely attached to this one little boy.... I want to take him home with me.

This afternoon me, Jenna, Andrew, Annah and Jenny climbed Table Mountain! The locals tell you all about the nice walk, beautiful scenery and nice cafe at the top, what they fail to tell you is that it's not easy! haha It was an amazing time and I've never seen views like that in my life. I feel great. :)

I'm so looking forward to waking up and seeing the babies again.
When I say that I'm not coming home, I'm not really joking...
